The heated debate over “”stop-and-frisk” hasn’t taken place completely along ideological lines. Salon.com’s Brian Beutler opposed “stop-and-frisk” before he was shot by black people in hoodies. Yet, after the shooting his views remained unchanged and his opposition to racial profiling remained as strong as ever. He discusses why the ordeal didn’t change his beliefs with the NOW panel.
